U-Gen (u-gen.ai) is operated by ZyncAI Systems, a company registered in Canada. We provide an AI-powered platform for generating UGC-style promotional videos. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@u-gen.ai.

Account Data: When you sign up, we collect your email address, display name, and password (hashed and stored securely by Supabase Auth). Payment Data: When you purchase credits, payment details are processed directly by Stripe or PayPal. We store your Stripe customer ID and transaction history but never your card number or banking details. Product Data: When you create a video, you provide a product name, product image URL, and optionally a product description. These are used to generate your video content. Voice Data: If you use custom voice settings, audio is processed by ElevenLabs for voice synthesis. We do not permanently store raw voice recordings — they are processed in real time. Generated Content: AI-generated scripts, keyframe images, and video files are stored in your account until you delete them. Usage Data: We collect basic usage metrics such as job counts, credit consumption, and feature usage to improve the platform. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.

We use your information to: • Provide and operate the U-Gen platform • Process payments and manage your credit balance • Generate video content based on your inputs • Send transactional emails (job completion, low credit alerts) • Improve our AI models and platform features • Comply with legal obligations We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

We share data with the following services as necessary to operate the platform: • Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage (your account data, videos, images) • Stripe — Payment processing (email, transaction details) • PayPal — Alternative payment processing (email, transaction details) • OpenAI — Script generation and image analysis (product descriptions, prompts) • Google Gemini — Video quality analysis and script generation (keyframe images, video frames) • ElevenLabs — Voice synthesis (audio processing for voice-changed narration) • KIE.ai — Video and image generation (product images, generation prompts) • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud infrastructure hosting (all platform data) Each provider processes data under their own privacy policies and is bound by data processing agreements where applicable.

Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with the following protections: • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest • Row-Level Security (RLS) ensures tenant isolation — you can only access your own data • OAuth tokens for social media integrations are encrypted with Fernet symmetric encryption • API keys and secrets are stored in AWS Secrets Manager, never in code • We follow OWASP security best practices including parameterized queries, CSRF protection, and Content Security Policy headers

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Specifically: • Account data: Retained until you delete your account • Generated videos and images: Retained until you delete them or your account • Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by Canadian tax law • Credit transaction logs: Retained as long as your account exists When you delete your account, all associated data (jobs, videos, images, settings) is permanently deleted via cascading deletion. Payment records required by law are anonymized.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights: • Access: Request a copy of your personal data • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format • Objection: Object to certain data processing activities • Restriction: Request restricted processing of your data Canadian residents have rights under PIPEDA. European residents have rights under GDPR. California residents have rights under CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@u-gen.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

U-Gen is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.

ZyncAI Systems is based in Canada. Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States through our cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Supabase). Canada has been recognized by the European Commission as providing adequate data protection. Where data is transferred to the US, our providers maintain appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of U-Gen after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
